I’m all about training youth workers. It’s my job. It’s my passion. I love spending time with them and sharing in their successes. I’m absolutely sure that what YMI does as a ministry is what God has called me to do as a person.

Techcrunch announced today that Flickr now offers video. If you’ve ever looked at my pictures on Flickr, you’ll notice I use it a lot. I currently have 4,594 pictures uploaded to Flickr. I have a pro membership, but I probably won’t use Flickr for video.

I’ve recently joined Youth Ministry Exchange, a great website that describes itself as “an online community for youth ministry.” They have lots of articles, book reviews, and other things. I had heard of them before, but never really took the time to get involved in it until last week.

Lately, it’s been pretty hot in Mexico City. The weather has reached over 30 degrees Centigrade (86 F) a lot lately. March is the hottest month, and it’s been hotter than usual this year. The federal government has issued warnings, reminding people to take precaution when going out for long periods of time.

A Little Mexican Snack
My students came to class today with a snack. They are chapulines tostados, known in English as toasted grasshoppers.
I didn’t have it in me to try them yet, but if I ever do, you know I’ll video it because it’s more than likely that I won’t eat them more than once (even though my students suggest I’ll like them).
