Went with most of the faculty of the Seminary downtown today for a meeting of the International Network of Baptist Theological Education (or something like that).
We talked about collaboration in Theological Education throughout Latin America. Interesting opportunities were discussed, but I wish we would have put out some more practical things and actually begun something. Everyone can agree that collaboration needs to take place, but who’s going to actually start something? We’ll see what comes from it, if anything.
I did get to meet some people from different seminaries both in Mexico and in other parts of Latin America. Hopefully, there will be some future opportunities. It was good to spend some time with the faculty of the seminary.
