The first game of the football season was last night, and in my opinion, it went a little like this:
Food – Very Good.
Friends – Very Good.
Game – Very Good.
Fantasy Football stuff – Good.
Results of the game – Poor.
Food – The poppers were awesome. The cheese sticks were good. The chicken was not so good (but the buffalo sauce was). We worked on the food all day after I got home from work. It was fun.
Friends – Rob came over to watch the first half. It was a lot of fun. He’s a fantasy football freak now. We had a good time watching as his defense (the Steelers) played pretty well.
Game – I think Miami played well. They played well enough to win, but in the end, it didn’t work out. At least the Steelers aren’t in their Division. They were in the game the whole time. I’m a little happy that Culpepper threw those interceptions at the end because he’s on the team I’m playing this week in fantasy football. Overall, it was a good night.
Fantasy Football – I only had one player playing last night, but he only scored one point. The team I’m playing had Culpepper and the Steelers running back. We’ll see how that works out this week.
Results of the game – Miami had that game! But then they gave up that 87 yard TD pass. Oh well. It’s only one game. They lost 28-17.
