Here I am again at the Tampa airport. I’m waiting for my flight to Mexico City. I’ll be there for a week and a half with a group of students from Highview Baptist Church. I’m looking forward to seeing our new kitchen, but I’m not really enjoying being away from the family again.
I wanted to write about security in airports. I was thinking about it the other day, and I think it’s a place that shows us the results of sin more than any other place (besides a cemetery) in daily life. Why else would we have to take off our shoes and be subject to searching if people weren’t sinful beings intent on hurting each other? The experience in Tampa International Airport isn’t that bad. Actually, today I met some of the friendliest security people I’ve ever seen. Good job, TIA!
