The Youth Department of the Mexican Baptist Convention approached our Center for Youth Ministry asking for help to plan a series of Bible studies for “youth month”, which will take place in January of 2012.

It just so happens that the class I’m teaching this quarter is all about Curriculum development and lesson planning. So, we’ve taken on the task of providing a month’s worth of lessons that will be distributed to all the Baptist churches in Mexico for their youth ministries.

This is a huge opportunity for us, and we are praying that God will use what we (my students and I) plan to impact this nation. We are focusing in on the topic of What Jesus would be like in our context, culture, and community in 2012 and encouraging the young people to commit to Him, be the people they need to be, and serve Him where they are.
