Nathan went trick or treating Mexican style tonight with Alex, our friend from Florida, and a bunch of other kids. We romped through the neighborhood yelling, “Queremos Halloween” and hoping for candy.
All of the costumes were way too expensive, so we just let him go out in his Superman pajamas. It was fun, and we got tons of candy. We also had a chance to meet some of our neighbors who we would never have met any other way.
Our pumpkins this year were Ninja Turtles and Lightning McQueen, and they turned out pretty well. It was a little disappointing to eat the seeds without watching the World Series, since Boston won it so quickly.
Anyway, it was a fun night. The good thing about Halloween in Mexico is that Nathan gets to go again tomorrow afternoon. It’s sort of a three day holiday here.
