In response to Tony’s comment below, here are 5 reasons for using PDF files. (He and I have already talked about it and decided that we are geeks).
- PDF files can be read for free (if you send a .doc file, you have to have Word; not everyone has Word).
- PDF files look just like you want them to on all computers.
- PDF files are smaller, especially if a document contains lots of graphics.
- You can too copy and paste text in a PDF file.
- Because I said so.
Okay, so I couldn’t think of 5 reasons, but five sounds better than four. Anyway, PDF files aren’t so bad after all. They can be useful in a variety of settings.
You may have noticed that at the end of every post, there is a google ad. Well, they are part of an experiment I am doing. Please feel free to click away on those things everytime you visit the site. I’m trying to see how much revenue I can generate by the end of the month. It only works if you click them, so please do. I’m not sure I like how they make the site look, so I don’t know if they’ll be around forever. If the money makes up for the look, they’ll stay. So click!
I just checked out epassportphoto.com. It’s a site where you can upload your own photos, and it will make a 4×6 photo page with a bunch of passport sized photos on it. It’s pretty cool because now you won’t have to go to the store to get your passport photos taken and printed, etc. I’m sure there are also many other uses for passport sized photos.

I just read this: Apple to sell Fox shows on iTunes. Since we are big “24” fans, we might have to start downloading it. Here in Mexico, we get “24,” but we are way behind what is happening in the US because they have to put subtitles on our shows. Now, through the magic of the internet, we can watch the episodes that we want to watch. This is so cool.
NOTE: I downloaded the next episode (for us) of 24. It was a HUGE file (206 MB), but it downloaded just fine. Plus, it was easy to do, almost too easy.
So, I finished up the wedding ceremony video last night. It was a lot of fun. I learned a lot about video production, and I think it turned out pretty well. It’s a lot better than the video we have of our wedding, which didn’t turn out at all. Of course, the photographer kept getting in my way (and everyone’s way) during the wedding, but she didn’t seem to mind at all. I mean, right at the kiss the bride, she stands up in the middle of the aisle to snap a shot, in front of the entire crowd. Frustrating. Oh well, at least they’ll have a picture of their kiss to mail to the 200 people who couldn’t see it because she was in the way. I still have a lot of video to edit, and I want to put it on a DVD for them. We’ll see how that works out. No time today, though. I got lots to do before tomorrow.
