Movies I watched this week

Hot chocolate

I’m listening to the always mellow Andrew Peterson, drinking hot chocolate (with mini-marshmallows), and basically just hanging out.

I am really missing Janell and Nathan. Being single stinks. That’s it. I lasted about 4 days. I’m lost now. I hope to make it to the end of the week.

Be my friend

So, I gave in and made a MySpace profile. There are a ton of old youth group students, friends from high school, and friends I’ve met along the way on there. It’s almost like a big reunion being able to catch up with them. I don’t know why I had waited so long to get on there. Maybe it’s all the bad press the site gets. Birthday present’s journey

By birthday present arrived today in Florida. We ordered it last week. Here’s the journey it took to get there:

Dried Fruit

Janell is sick, and Nathan is a little sick. So, we spent the day at home today. The only time I got out of the house was to take Nathan for a walk in his cool jogging stroller. I spent the morning cutting fruit so we could spend the day dehydrating it. It sure was a lot of work to do that. Now, I’ve got some dried fruit that hopefully I will eat instead of eating bad stuff. I’m sort of on a quest to get healthy. We’ll see. I’m sticking with the exercise part pretty well. I guess that means I can eat whatever I want.

Youth pastor meeting

I just got back from meeting with Josue (the youth pastor at First Baptist) at Starbucks. It’s so cool to get together with people who are like-minded and involved in the same ministry as you are. There’s something encouraging about it, knowing that there is so much potential for impact. I’m looking forward to seeing what God does in the next few years in his church and in this country.
