I arrived back on Sunday from my week long intensive class in a place called Matanzas. It was a counseling class, and it went really well. We had a great time , and the students did great (as usual).
I had no travel problems, except a little delay in Miami on the way back to Tampa. Overall, the two courses (there was one on communication before mine) went really well. The picture is of what I looked at all week during class.
I’m back from my trip, and we’re back in Mexico. Expect some real update posts in the next few days. Thanks for your prayers.
It’s really amazing what money can do for you. I have had to overnight books twice in the last week, and both times it has cost more money than I wanted to pay. But, both packages arrived to their destinations within 24 hours, which seems crazy. You can get almost anything you need almost instantly, if you’re willing to pay the price for it.
Well, it’s finally 2007. Really, it just means that there will be a lot of messed up checks in our future. I always seem to write the last year for about a month. Who am I kidding, I don’t write the checks. Anyway, hope you have a great 2007. As for me, I’m starting the year off right with some preparations for my class that I’ll be teaching both in intensive form (next week) and this quarter. I just thought I’d take a quick break to write this post.
Tomorrow, I’m preaching at New Hope Community Church in Dunedin. It’s our home church, and it’s always good to be with them. I’m looking forward to sharing in the morning service. If you live around there, you should go. It starts at 10 am.
We’ve had a bandwidth problem this past week, but hopefully, that is fixed now.
We are in Florida with the family, and we had a great Christmas. Nathan has been having a blast with his cousins and aunts and grandparents, and we have been having fun and enjoying the babysitters. Anyway, I’ll write more later. Just wanted to get this update on here and let you know it’s fixed.
