We bought a…
Bubble machine! I’ve wanted one of these for a long time. Finally, we bought a pretty cool little bubble blower for about $10 today at Walmart. It blows a ton of bubbles in a short amount of time. It was windy this afternoon when we tried it out, but we had fun.

VIDEO: New Baby
This video says it all. We’re having another baby! It’s a boy.
Big News
In case you haven’t already heard, we’re having another baby! Nathan is going to be a brother. We went to the doctor yesterday to have a 4D ultrasound, and they told us that it’s a boy. So, we’re thinking of names and getting ready for his arrival. The due date is August 1.
Janell is feeling fine. She has been tired, but not really been very sick. Nathan is excited that there’s a baby in mommy’s belly, and he’s going to be an excellent big brother. I’m excited, too, thinking about what a privilege it is to have another child.

Back in Mexico
What better way to celebrate that we’re all back in Mexico than to spend some family time at the park? We tried out Nathan’s new Louisville slugger and learned how to slide down a fire pole.
Then we went to a favorite Mexican food place. Nathan got a taco (his favorite), Janell got enchiladas (her favorite), and I got a torta (with chorizo…one of my favorites).
Overall, we had a great day of family time. Tomorrow, it’s back to work.
Riding a Horse
We went to Janell’s sister Nicole’s house on Saturday, and we had a great time. She’s got a horse farm, so Nathan had a chance to ride a little horse she’s got there. He also got to go on her new 4 wheeler. He gave all the horses a kiss and fed them carrots.
We were there a while ago, and he didn’t want anything to do with the horse, but now he did a great job just sitting up there and pulling on the reins when he wanted her to stop.
