Hey! We made it back safely to Mexico from the US. Nathan is great on the plane and in the airport. We almost missed our flight to Mexico City because we had to walk all over the Dallas airport, but other than that, it went well. Customs and Immigration in Mexico took like 5 minutes, so we were pleased with that. We knew we had arrived back in MC when we were stuck in traffic for more than 2 hours to get home. On a good day, we can get there in 30 minutes from the airport.
We were talking on the plane about how travelling always has its happy moments and sad moments. There is always, for us, a happy moment upon landing. We get to see our old friends and family. On the goodbye side, it’s always sad. So, it’s a difficult thing to say goodbye to people, even though you know you have people waiting for you on the other end of the trip, which will make it happy.
Nathan is sick, so it’s making us all miserable. He has a cough, runny nose, and lots of congestion. It seems that he is coming out of it, though. He is taking some medicine the doctor told us to get, so hopefully, he will be fine in a day.
