After yesterday’s huge photo shoot, the photographer Spencer Tunick stayed and shot more. I think it’s funny that he said this after the photo shoot:
“What a moment for the Mexican art scene!” Tunick said in a news conference. “I think all eyes are looking south from the United Sates to Mexico City to see how a country can be free and treat the naked body as art. Not as pornography or as a crime, but with happiness and caring.”
The guy has obviously never walked the streets downtown, where you have to close your eyes to avoid the pornography stands that are selling it openly.
I just uploaded this old video to Youtube. It’s from our mission trip to Mexico back in 2001 with our youth group from our church. These guys are all grown up now.
You know those little, “You are from the (insert decade) if you remember…” things? I just got one from someone about being a “90’s kid.” Boy I feel old because I remember getting those emails about the 80s. Now they are talking about growing up in the 90’s. I wonder if my great, great grandkids will have those lists. Just for fun, here are some of the “90’s kids” stuff:
Funny thing is that there are people who don’t know what half of this stuff means. They would be high school students now.
