I sat there like a proud dad, even though I’m not related to any of the graduates. This was an emotional moment as I watched all 13 of the students who started the youth ministry program walk the aisle to graduate.
Three years ago, we thought it would be a successful endeavor if half of them graduated. But as a sign of their determination and hard work, there they were, the dream team, united at graduation, just like they’ve been for the last three years. Congratulations!!!

Here’s a video of the 2008 graduation at the Mexican Baptist Theological Seminary, which included the graduation of the first student from the Center for Youth Ministry with a bachelor’s degree in youth ministry.

Nathan had some sweet moves at the seminary graduation dinner last night.

The Seminary students like to spend their down time playing soccer. Today was the championship between the freshman and sophomores and the juniors. The seniors were all studying for finals, I think.
The graduating class at the seminary has 6 bachelor’s degree graduates and four others who will be graduating with the equivalent of an associates degree. It’s the first graduating class that includes a graduate in youth ministry. Here’s a quick video of them yesterday during their photo shoot.
