Non-Detention

We had an after-school fellowship at MCCA today, called NON-Detention. We had a great time playing wiffle ball, four square, soccer, and basketball. We had about 25 students there, and the purpose was to just build relationships with each other. We’ll start next Friday with a Bible study.

New Gallery Students Surveying

One of the assignments for the youth ministry class that I’m teaching at the seminary was to survey young people about their attitudes toward church. The three youth ministry majors did an awesome job (so did everyone else in the class). They even took pictures. So we put them up in a gallery to show you. We hope you enjoy them. Also included are some pictures of an outreach event that one of the guys went to downtown. They had breakdancers, music, and all kinds of things there. Check it out!

Chapel service

Today was the first chapel service at MCCA. The band did a great job leading worship, and overall the chapel went well. We are really looking forwward to working with this group of students and helping them develop into who God wants them to be.

Lunch

This afternoon we had our friends Carlos and Sonia over with their new baby. It was great to spend some time with them here at the house. We talked about a lot of great things and had some great food. It just doesn’t get any better than this! As always…you can click the picture to see a bigger one.
