February Family and Ministry Update (Video)
We made this quick video for Riverside Church’s Global Connections Weekend, and we thought we would share it here, too.

Growth is going to be a key word for us this year. Our family is growing. You read that right. Janell is pregnant! Our third little Poulette is due in September. We are so excited to see our family grow.
Here’s the ultrasound picture.
So, what do you think? Will it be a boy or a girl?

After talking with the Seminary administration, they decided to allow us to live in a vacant house on campus. What a blessing!!! It has been used in the past as a guest house, and many groups who have come to help us have stayed there. Other than being a guest house, though, it hasn’t really been used in the last 6 years.
Needless to say, there is some fixing up to do, and we could really use your help to fix up the house.
We need to put in new cabinets and a new stove in the kitchen, a bathtub for the boys’ bathroom, a new covering for the laundry room, and a wall to protect the boys from falling through the stairs. Watch the video below to see what we’re talking about and get a tour of our new house.
The need to fix the house is urgent, as we would like to move in by the middle of March. We are estimating that we will need around $3,000 dollars to be able to fix the things we need to fix to move into the house.
We have set up a special account with Youth Ministry International, where you can send a check with a note marked “Poulette housing fund.” The faster we can raise the money, the faster we can begin fixing up the house.
The address for Youth Ministry International is:
1300 Envoy Cir.
Suite 1306
Louisville, KY 40299

We’re back in Mexico after about 6 weeks of time in Florida and St. Louis. We had a great time reconnecting with family and friends as well as sharing at churches and representing Youth Ministry International at Urbana ’09.
Now we get to unpack in time to pack again. We’re moving. I’ll give you more details about that soon, but just wanted to write that we are happy to be back. So happy we celebrated by eating some real tacos last night.
