El Tri

I’m getting ready to see “El Tri,” Mexico’s national soccer team play against the Republic of Congo in Estadio Azteca. It’s the last game for the team before the world cup. Ooooh, so exciting.

Yeah!

102_3766Janell and Nathan made it home! It’s crazy that it had only been a week, but Nathan is doing so much different stuff now. He’s pointing more, talking more, saying new words, almost walking, and generally just more grown up. I hate being away from him and Janell, and I’m extremely happy that they are back. I mean, look at that face.

Cole’s birthday

Cole in boat at Xochimilco Tonight I went to Ruby Tuesday with a bunch of missionaries for Cole’s 17th birthday. We had some really good food and then, we went back to their house for some dessert. Cole got tons of CDs for his birthday, and I had a great time with our friends here in Mexico City. If you want to know more about Cole’s life, check out his blog, and make sure you write him a comment.

One more reason for a video iPod

I just read this: Apple to sell Fox shows on iTunes. Since we are big “24” fans, we might have to start downloading it. Here in Mexico, we get “24,” but we are way behind what is happening in the US because they have to put subtitles on our shows. Now, through the magic of the internet, we can watch the episodes that we want to watch. This is so cool.

NOTE: I downloaded the next episode (for us) of 24. It was a HUGE file (206 MB), but it downloaded just fine. Plus, it was easy to do, almost too easy.
