Okay, so it’s not really an ad. Maybe it is. It’s a napkin. It’s for tacos. It’s for tacos in a basket, and boy are they delicious. The chicken ones are a little spicy. Nathan ate them like they were nothing. They are cheap and good for large groups. We had some tonight when we went to the dedication service for the new youth pastor at PIB Satelite. It was a good night.
Yeah! We’re back online. It was more than 24 hours, but a technician from the phone company came out today and fixed our internet access. It was a problem with the box that comes out of the wall (you know, where you connect the phone line). You can now expect again more recent posts. Yippy.
I am sooooo tired of being on the phone with Tech support for this stupid internet outage. I have been given the run-around so many times I’m dizzy. It’s doubly difficult when I have to talk on the phone in Spanish with tons of static. Then, they don’t have a clue what I’m saying, so I have to repeat myself a million times. I also have to ask them to repeat themselves a million times. I feel sorry for the nice people who are trying to help me (not those who just say…you’ll have to call this other number). Arrrggghhhh. So, I still don’t have it fixed. It should be fixed within 24 hours…so they say. We’ll see.
It’s rainy outside here today. I’m sitting at Starbucks, sipping a grande coffee of the day and looking out the huge window into the cloudy, rainy sky. We’ve been without internet at the house now for 3 and a half days. It really stinks (but I like coming to Starbucks). So, I’m here this morning, and I thought I’d write a little here. Oh, since the internet is out, so is our Box phone, so no local calls to the US this week for us.
There are a lot of things happening in the next few weeks. I’m moving offices at the seminary, which means that I’ll be out of the closet sized office that I have now. I’m getting an office that, to me, seems to be enormous. Orientation week is in a few weeks. Class starts the 22nd. Anyway, that’s the update.

The ad says: Come and drive your new “carT.” It’s true, those new carts are sweet. They’ve got some great handling. The new Walmart (and Sam’s club) is finally open.
New Category: Ad of the Week. I’ll try to find something interesting each week to put in this category. It could be an ad from here or something from some store, restaurant, etc. We’ll see how it goes.
