We’re here! We made it to Vegas last night without any problems with airplanes or airports. Both of our flights were great. Nathan slept the whole way from Atlanta to Las Vegas, and today we went around a little on the strip. We’re still working on getting adjusted to being in the Pacific Time Zone, but we’re doing great. More pictures later.
We’re almost ready to head out to Las Vegas to visit with my sister and celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. Then it’s off to California for meetings with YMI. We promise to take lots of pictures and try to keep you updated throughout the trip. See ya!
So, it looks like we’ve only been posting links lately. That’s because we’ve been busy with all sorts of stuff. Last Sunday, we spoke at the church where I spent most of the first 7 years of my life. Many of the people who were there remembered me as a five year old, so it was a great experience to preach there.
Then, on Friday, we had a Mexican fiesta at our home church and got to see a lot of old and new friends.
Tonight, we went to the first church I worked at as a full time youth pastor. In all of these places, we had a great opportunity to share what God is doing in Mexico. It has left us very drained, but we know it has been a good week.
Tuesday, we are going to Las Vegas to spend some time with my sister as well as to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. We will be on our way to California for our a meeting with our mission organization. We’ll try to post pictures and everything while we’re there. I guess it just depends on internet access.
