New Group of Students

My new group of students are great. I love it when you share something that you think is basic (because you have taught it many times), and they “get it.” They are full of questions and seem to be enjoying themselves in class. I barely know them, but it seems to be going well. Of course, if they were writing in their blog, they might be writing something completely different. Funny, huh?

Growing Up

When he’s a few years older, he’ll probably kill me for posting this picture to the internet, but I’m doing it anyway. We bought him some big boy underwear today, and hopefully, he’ll learn how to use them soon.

So tonight we tried them on him, and he loved them. I think it had something to do with the fact that they have Superman on them. Anyway, it’s hard to believe he’s growing up so much. I can’t believe it.

Preaching Friday

I’m preaching Friday in chapel at the seminary. I have a pretty good idea of what I’ll be preaching about. The main passage is Ephesians 4:1-6.

I’m going to talk about acting like the person God has called us to be. I believe it’s something that seminary students really need to hear, especially starting out the first few weeks of classes, as they begin to relate to each other again. I pray that I will communicate what God wants for their lives during the 30 minutes I have.
