On Tires and Protection

Wednesday I drove over 300 miles in our van, and I noticed that it was shaking much more than it should be. Today I decided to really check it out. The rear passenger tire had parts of the steel sticking out of it. It was really bad. I can’t believe I had driven 300 miles on it like that just Wednesday. I even crossed the Skyway bridge. I’m thankful for God’s protection.

Crazy weather today

Today we had some crazy Florida weather. I was supposed to go to Fort Meade to share with some ranchers about our ministry, but we cancelled it because of the rain and floods that have been going on. I hope to get down there in the next few weeks to share with them.

Would you travel 300 miles for training?

Aguascalientes is a city located about 500 kilometers away from our Seminary. The trip is 300 miles one way! That most likely means a pretty long (almost 6 hour) bus ride. But this student gladly travels round trip every Saturday to take the four hour class and improve his ministry to the young people of his church and community.

Teaching them Young

Last night we went to the mall after dinner to let the kids run of some energy at the playground. We usually let Ben walk next to us so he gets a little extra exercise.

So we’re walking along and notice that Ben was lagging behind. Janell and I both turned around to look at him, and he was bending over picking up something off the ground.

Little League Game #1
