Seminary Event LIVE today

Today the Seminary is having a huge promotion event. There are conferences, sample classes (I’m teaching one), visitation of the dorms, and many other things.

I’ll be broadcasting some of it live below, in case you want to check out what’s happening. It will all be in Spanish, but I’m trying to broadcast live my class that I’ll be teaching at 1 pm (2 pm Eastern).

Earthquake in Mexico City

Today we experienced our first ever earthquake here in Mexico City. I was sitting at the dining room table, Janell was upstairs working at the desk, and Nathan was out in the back porch swinging on our hammock swing. Ben was sleeping in his crib. Then it happened.

Nathan’s Birthday Piñata

It’s not a birthday party in Mexico without a piñata. So we got a Buzz Lightyear piñata for a little party we had for Nathan at our house with some missionary friends and seminary students. It matched his Buzz Lightyear candle we bought and put on his cake.

Remembering Jerry Falwell

As a Liberty graduate, I remember listening to Dr. Falwell in chapel. I remember hearing so much about how he founded Thomas Road Baptist Church. I probably took for granted that I heard him preach and speak so much. I feel privileged to have been able to meet the man and have many fond memories of him.
