Today was the last day of preparation for seminary class. Tomorrow is it. The notes are ready, the students are there, and hopefully, I'll be ready, too. Please pray for me as we start this class, Principles of Youth Ministry, tomorrow.

Today was a long day. We went to church this morning. Then we invited our friend Abraham, seen in the picture above, to eat. We forgot that we were going to have "American" tacos. It's funny to think that we invited a Mexican to our house for tacos. He is a seminary...

Yesterday, we took the morning off to watch the movie 13 going on 30. It's a movie about a girl who on her 13th birthday wishes she were 30 and gets it. A great little story about how the decisions we make now can affect our lives later. It's worth watching.

Tonight was the opening night of the seminary year. There was a great worship service followed by some food, fellowship, and games. In this picture, I'm running with Israel, a first year youth ministry student. You can see who is losing.

Orientation: Tomorrow is Orientation at the seminary. It turns out that we have about 25 new students in the whole seminary. It's amazing how things all come together in the end here. We're still not sure about how many youth ministry students we'll have, but I'm sure...
