I’m convinced that we spend a lot of time preparing what we are going to say and not enough time on how we are going to say it. I just read Mark Batterson’s thoughts on sermon branding, which I loved.
I want to make his conviction mine: the greatest truths ought to be communicated in the most unforgettable ways. The ideas that he has in that blog post would change the way people look at the gospel.
I like his blog too. He’s got some great thoughts. I’ve never been to his church though, even though it’s practically right down the street… sort of…
