Day 1 of Diploma Classes for 2010
Today was the first day of the diploma classes for this year (Spanish link). We have a location in the south of the city as well as at the Seminary in the north of the city. Today I visited the class in the south.
There are 12 students enrolled in the diploma classes this month, which are designed to be less formal and to help those who are very actively involved in their local church youth ministry and cannot enroll in the Bachelor’s degree (yet).
The class for this month is “Contemporary Communication to Adolecents.” In fact, it’s almost three classes in one. We’re teaching Bible study methods, Principles of Preaching, and How to Create Creative Bible Studies. It’s a great class, and I think it’s something that should be very practical.
