Our family is involved in many things. Training youth workers for local churches involves teaching youth ministry courses at the Mexican Baptist Theological Seminary, overseeing ministries in other countries, speaking at youth events, and other important things.

With all of the work that needs to be done, it’s easy for me to get caught up in being busy at “the office” and forget about the most important ministry that takes place in our family: the ministry of discipling and raising our kids.

Janell plays a primary role in what is, in my opinion, the most important ministry in our family. I may have the opportunity to preach, teach, speak at conferences, travel, and mentor youth leaders, but the work that she does far outweighs the work that I do on a daily basis.

She’s written a great post on her site about what a day in her life looks like. I would love for you to check it out and leave her a comment to encourage her in her important ministry. Thanks.
